How a session runs when reading and driving are different jobs
An anchor, an executive, or a guest looks at a prompter they never touch, while someone else holds the script, the speed, and the decision about when to move.
One device operates
The operator machine holds the script and the transport. Switching from Read to Operate gives a live preview of every connected display at once, with font size, line height, margin, flip, cue marker, and timer set per display.
Every other screen joins
An iPad on a beam splitter, a confidence monitor at the back of the room, a laptop in the control room, a transparent browser source in OBS or vMix. Press ID and each screen shows its own number.
Talent-facing screens stay clean
Clean Display strips the control bar and the viewer cannot turn it back on mid-take. Blackout clears the screens during a break, and Live Edit corrects a name while the script is still rolling.
Who can do what to a script
The workspace owns the scripts, collections, displays, and billing, and each person gets access matched to their job. Editors and Talent see only what has been shared with them or with their role group.
AdminPaid seat
Full control of the workspace: members, roles, content, settings, and billing. One Admin is also the workspace owner, which is the account that cannot be demoted or removed and that holds ownership and data-transfer decisions.
ProducerPaid seat
Creates and edits scripts, manages collections, invites and manages members within the seat limit, and shares externally by email or link. Cannot delete the organization or change billing.
EditorPaid seat
Writes and edits scripts and manages collections, with no team administration and no external sharing. Sees team content that has been shared with Editors rather than the whole library.
TalentFree
Views the scripts shared with them and runs the teleprompter, with no editing, no collection management, and no selection or bulk actions. Talent does not consume a seat, so an anchor, a guest, or a rotating presenter costs nothing to add.
Studio includes three Admin, Producer, or Editor seats, with per-seat billing only beyond those three. Adding people to a role automatically puts them in a group (All Producers, All Editors, All Talent), so sharing a script with a role covers everyone who holds it now and everyone who joins later.

What this replaces in the rack
A traditional prompting setup binds the script to one machine. Here the script lives in the workspace and the screens come to it.
- The software is installed on the prompter computer, and that computer is wired to the prompter head.
- Scripts arrive on a USB stick or in an email, so the copy on the glass is not the copy the producer just corrected.
- Getting an on-screen read into the production layout means a capture card or a scan converter.
- A fixed display enrolls once with a pairing code, then reconnects by itself and follows its assigned operator.
- A correction reaches every connected display in about a quarter of a second, without stopping playback.
- An OBS or vMix browser source renders on a transparent background and survives OBS restarts once registered.
When the operator drops out
This is the failure everyone plans around. If the operator machine sleeps, loses the network, or closes unexpectedly, the session goes dormant for up to 24 hours instead of ending. Displays that were scrolling keep going at their last known rate, paused ones stay paused, and phone remotes and hardware wait rather than queueing up commands to fire later.
When the operator signs back in, the same session resumes and a coasting display is not forced to stop. Nobody reissues viewer links and nobody re-pairs a Stream Deck while the show is on.
