How a one-person shoot runs
There is no prompter operator, so every adjustment happens before you hit record and the take itself is just reading.
Prepare the script
Import a .txt or Word file, or write it in the editor. Drop a marker at the top of each section you expect to re-shoot, and a pause where the scroll should stop and wait: a product cutaway, a demo, a breath before the turn.
Set it up once
Choose the speed in lines per minute, the font size, the margins, and the cue marker. On paid plans, save them to a Speaker Profile so the next video opens at your pace instead of being re-tuned from scratch.
Run the take
Prompter on the screen nearest the lens, flipped horizontally if you shoot through a beam splitter. The phone becomes the remote on paid plans, so a reset and a re-shoot never put your hands in frame.
